*A ‘WHAT-IF’ role reversal of the Anti-Suffrage Movement… 'Nursery Discipline’ Style! Using an old 1908 counter-movement advertisement by Harry Grant Dart entitled, 'Why Not Go the Limit’, this satirical scene is set in the imaginary venue called Mrs. P. J. Gilligan’s Saloon for Ladies. The revised ad was commissioned by The National Association Opposed to Male Suffrage and has appropriately been renamed, 'It’s Way Past His Bedtime’, which is supported by the below caption:
Does Someone Look Out Of Place?
You Peevish Little Man Belongs In His Nursery Crib; NOT In The Ladies Feminease Club*
*Allowing Men Equal Rights Is No Different From Letting Toddlers Decide The Future Of This Great Nation.
VOTE ‘NO’ ON MEN’S SUFFRAGE!
