This is best done after dark when you're pretty sure you won't run into a nosy neighbor. If you've already outed yourself to your whole neighborhood, this doesn't count as a challenge.
First, prepare yourself and a diaper or pull-up for whichever way you like to use them. Preparing could mean drinking extra fluids, using some form of laxative or insert, y'know ... whatever floats your boat. Extra protection such as tights and/or plastic covers is recommended :-).
Next, put on either your regular clothes, or something that looks almost regular. I usually go for loose girl's jeans, a pair of slightly effeminate tennis shoes, a training bra, and a t-shirt or top that's feminine, but could pass as a normal shirt in the dark. Of course, you could get more creative or daring with the clothing, but that's not the main point.
Now, set yourself a distance goal. It could be 3ft from your door, the edge of your yard, a half block, or a half-mile or more.
The last part can be done by yourself or with a helper. The challenge is "How far would you dare go from your home before you use your diaper and have to take the 'princess walk' back?" If you have a helper and they drop you off, they must wait til you've "performed" before they abandon you there; no cheating. If alone, you can't turn back until you give in.
It's raining tonight. I've done it during a snow storm, but never the rain. Bad weather contributes to the sense of helplessness, so I'd like to take a princess walk in the rain if I could figure out what to wear.
