Regression

Chapter One: The
Revelation
Tiffany Summers was an ordinary 19-year-old girl, in many ways: university, friends, late-night takeaway – the usual trappings of youth in Lancaster. But life had recently taken an extraordinary turn. The night started like any other, with Tiffany and her boyfriend Simon curled up together, chatting idly about nothing and everything. But tonight, Simon seemed distant, his eyes rimmed red and his hands shaking ever so slightly.
After a long silence, Simon finally looked up, barely meeting Tiffany’s gaze. “I need to tell you something, Tiff,” he whispered, his voice quivering with emotion.
Tiffany’s heart thudded in her chest. She nodded, giving him the space to continue. “I… I’ve been keeping something from you. For months, really. I can’t carry it on my own anymore.” Tears welled up in Simon’s eyes, spilling over as he began to sob.
Carefully, Tiffany took his hand in hers. “Whatever it is, you can tell me.” She said gently.
Simon’s confession tumbled out in-between sobs as he spoke. He, spoke of a deep-seated yearning, one which he had kept hidden for so long. “From the age of 6, after seeing a baby girl at a wedding, she was the most-prettiest baby girl that I had ever seen. At first, I simply wanted to swap places with her, but then I got a sudden strong feeling come over me, it was unlike anything that I have ever felt before. I felt the need for me to want to live and dress as a baby girl. But I was far too young to be able to understand what that meant, but that feeling never left me, but I kept trying to hide it ever since, but I can’t hide it any longer, I need to live that life, as a baby girl that is and I wish to be known as Suzie.”
Chapter Two: After the Shock
Tiffany sat stunned for a moment, the enormity of Simon’s secret settling between them. She had never expected this, nor had she any experience with such things. But as the initial shock faded, Tiffany found herself focusing more on Simon’s pain rather than her own confusion. She saw the relief in his eyes, the tremors fading away, ever so slightly as he finally let his walls down.
“Thank you for telling me, Simon. Or… Suzie, if that’s what you prefer?” she said quietly, her voice steady. Simon nodded, cheeks flushed but his expression softened. Tiffany squeezed his hand, reassuring him without words that he was still loved, still safe.
Chapter Three: Creating a Safe Space
Over the next few days, Tiffany did her research. She read stories, browsed forums, and tried to understand what regression meant for Suzie. It wasn’t about pretending or playing; it was about feeling safe, accepted, and cherished. Determined to support Suzie, Tiffany set about creating a sanctuary in her flat. She started to set up a nursery for Suzie.
She picked out soft blankets, pastel cushions, and gentle nightlights. She even found a pink frilly dress online, measured especially for Suzie’s size—a token of love and acceptance. When it arrived, Tiffany wrapped it and left it on Suzie’s pillow with a handwritten note: “For my little girl, with all my love. Mummy is here.”
Chapter Four: From Girlfriend to Mummy
With every passing day, Tiffany’s role shifted. She became not just Simon’s girlfriend, but Suzie’s mummy—her gentle guide, her anchor, her comfort. She helped Suzie into the dress, brushing her hair and humming lullabies. She poured warm milk into a bottle, sat her on her lap, and whispered words of reassurance into Suzie’s ears.
Suzie’s eyes sparkled with joy, her burdens melting away. In Tiffany’s arms, she felt seen and loved for who she truly was. Tiffany, too, discovered something new within herself—a capacity for acceptance, nurturing, and unconditional love.
Chapter Five: Embracing the Journey
Their relationship changed, yes, but in ways that drew them closer. There were challenges, awkward moments, and the careful navigation of secrecy with friends and family. But at the heart of it all was a simple truth: Suzie was loved, and Tiffany would stand by her side—girlfriend, mummy, and confidante.
Together, they charted a path of understanding and acceptance, embracing both the struggles and the joys. In Tiffany’s safe place, Suzie could finally be herself, and together, they discovered the truest meaning of love and belonging.
