Chapter 1
On his way home from work the next day he pulled his truck into the parking lot and rushed in the door of Trans Continental Dental.
As he stumbled his way to the front desk, a young woman greeted him. "You must be Jim, we talked on the phone yesterday. It is a good thing you walked in I was just about to lock the door you are the last patient of the day."
"I...I...am sorry" Jim stammered as he tried to catch his breath.
'Not a problem" the young woman replied, "I do have a few forms that you need to fill out, just grab a seat and Dr. Applebaum will be with you shortly, " She passed him a clip board with a large stack of papers on it and motioned to the waiting area.
Jim took the clipboard and sat down on a pale pink bench. He was still short of breath but as he looked around he began to notice that there was a distinctly feminine touch to the waiting area. It was full of pale pastels and delicate details.
Just as he was finishing the first of the seemingly large amount of paper work. He heard a voice call from the back "Sarah is the last appointment of the day here?"
" Yes Dr. A, She...I mean he is here. I'll call to push back you dinner reservations as I think it will take a full appointment slot." Sarah replied back
Sarah turned to Jim, "If we want to get your problems all fixed up as soon as possible you can just leave your wallet with me and I can fill out the rest of the details of the paperwork for you. Just sign on the back page and I'll go over it with you when you leave. "
"Oh really that would be great! Thank you so much!" Jim signed the last page and passed over his wallet.
"Great come with me."
