If you were a young one in the late 1950s, early 1960s, you may remember this. Young girls of that era wore the sheer look. and especially in the Communion Dress. also sheer dresses were the rage in school clothes for maybe 2 seasons.. At least once a girl age 12 to 13 would do one thing before her mother said "Ladies do NOT do such things!" That thing was wear her sheer dress with no slip under it. The young boys then truly appreciated the effect. This is as floe to a sheer communion dress as I can find today and I decided to wear a sheer training bra but no slip. I think the affect is as stunning now as it was then. What do you think?
