pointe shoes are really sexy. they are fun to wear but be careful when actually standing on your toes! real ballerinas train for that so don't underestimate it.

They really are sexy. I have a bunch of them. My favorites are red and pink but I also have pretty blue pair, white, and black pairs. I can stand on my toes but I rarely do it. I mostly do it to reach high up things because I am a little short.

Cool, what are your favorite pair of pointe shoes that you own? My favorite are my white Wendy Wu pointe shoes I got off amazon. I refuse to wear them as they are so pretty and I don't want to get them dirty, I would probably cry if I did. Right now I am wearing a pair of red satin ballet slippers that I lovingly refer to as my ruby slippers.

You have a really nice collection. I wish I could get a picture oa all mine but I have so many I would have to take several pictures to get them all. I have so many I am starting to forget what I have so I am about to go through and write them down. I also have retired pairs. When I wear a pair of pointe shoes or slippers until they are wore out I retire them and keep them but I never wear them again. Right now I have 4 retired pairs, one is my first pair of pointe shoes, another is my demi pointe shoes, then my first pair of pink satin slippers, and finally my first pair of pink leather slippers I got to wear out in public.
