HALLOWEEN IS FINALLY HERE!!!

and this year i am NOT gonna sit in the house and mope like i have for the past 3 years.

no, ma'am i am NOT!

this year im gonna get out and enjoy my favorite holiday!

i searched high and low for a costume idea that fit my personality without getting to cliche'.

first i decided i wasnt going to be ANYTHING from disney. i do love the disney princesses, but there costumes are just to common. (and most often to slutty as well.)

so i went on to video game and came up with princess zelda. i would love to go as my favorite video game princess but all the costumes i could find were far to expensive.

i went on to anime and settled on sailor jupiter from sailor moon. i would love to be a sailor scout, but i put some weight after graduating high school and my figure wont allow me to wear those tight leotards.

so i was at a stale mate. what could i be for halloween? all my thought processes were leading me no where.

so i gave up.

then two days later.(today) i googled "the nightmare before christmas" and remembered what an amazing movie it was.

thats when it hit me.

SALLY!!! I CAN GO AS SALLY!!! its kinda girly, and its definitely in the spirit of halloween. the costumes arent slutty, and her dress isnt really tight. her hair is bright red. mine is brown, but thats nothing a can of colored hairspray cant fix.

i love halloween so much, and its been so long since i've been able to enjoy it, but NO MORE!!!

so in a way i went back to the tried and true. disney ALWAYS wins.

so what are you girls gonna do this year?

Well this year a couple of the other girls in the office asks me if i want to come as mike our boss. LOL there is 3 of us that are going to dress as him. I have not worn men clothes in years, this should be fun. We are going to the thrift store this weekend and buying some men's suits. I guess the little girl clothes are out this year. I love to push the envelope at Halloween. Well at least at work lol.

I was in a costume store and was considering going as a nurse when I saw my black petticoat dress, and was like hell yeah. My makeup is Alice in wonderland though, as it was easier to say that than go into other details

I went out last night dressed as a toddler beauty pageant contestant. I found an old wedding dress at a thrift store, shortened it and dyed it pink, and it came out really well. I went to a couple of stores and a couple of bars dressed like this, it was a lot of fun.
