By my wonderful photographer / filmographer friend Jason Marsh who has been a real inspiration in helping me come out into the light as the woman I am.

These images were shot in Llandaff Cathedral, Cardiff, Wales (UK) on vintage and expired film. There was one slightly scary moment when we had to ask the vicar for permission to shoot in the cathedral… which was immediately forthcoming. Makes me all the more sorry for my trans sisters and brothers in certain countries where people of faith are less accepting...

Some kind of memento mori, I think. The cathedral is mostly very old, and that part of our shoot was in one of its most ancient nooks - a medieval chapel.

Thank you. :) I was thrilled that they were so open-minded about it. That certainly isn't the stereotypical reaction the internet trains me to expect from religious people, but I guess it can't be right about everything (thankfully).

Looking through those photos I was half expecting to see Christopher Lee turn up.

You're lucky being able to have photos taken of you that appeal to your other interests. If I were to base photos of me on my taste in films I'd end up stomping around a cardboard city in a big heavy rubber monster costume. Hardly a girly or feminine photo shoot.
