So ive noticed something peculiar in a lot of AB/DL anime drawings, in which the character is sitting in a puddle of his/her urine. Ever notice that the pee is always a verry rich shade of yellow? Well, did you know that your pee is not always the same shade of yellow? Sometimes its even as clear as water! The reason is that the yellow stuff in urine is liquid wast that your body doesn't want, so it passes out through urine. The rest is water, as i'm sure you know, but what i will tell you next you may not know. The deeper the shade of yellow, the more dehidrated you are. Crazy huh!?! Try it yourself. Drink alot of water all day long and at the end of the day look at your pee pee in th toilet( or diaper:-)). If you drank enough, you'l see almost no yellow. It also works backwards, spend all day drinking as little water as you can, and the next morning look at your pee pee and it will be a deep shade of yellow. Pretty kool huh?!

The problem is that its difficult to make a diaper look wet if its not slightly off-coloured... I try to keep my drawings a very very pale shade of yellow, just noticably enough but not like ORANGE!

Yeah, BabyNiki hit the nail on the head. Urine in popular culture has always been shown to be yellow, possibly even to set it apart from water.

I personally think it would be better to do as Babyniki with the drawings... since well when you are dehydrated you are less likely to have to uncontrollably pee yourself, however if you are over hydrated, then well im sure we have all just barely made it to the bathroom to relieve ourselves.

I didnt want it to seem like i was saying you were wrong at all... I actually am in complete agreement with you, all the anime characters have bright vibrant yellow urine. I was just saying my thoughts of it seeming unrealistic.
