Alas, so true. Especially with the celebration of "dumbness" that was the 2000 and 2004 general (presidential) election.

Even more prophetic are Mr. Asimov's words as I believe they were first uttered back in the late 1950s.

Nice quote, Miki. But a suggestion: Rather than make these stand-alone "thought for the days", why not just continue your previous thread? We started with Kant ...and now Asimov... just keep this one or the other going...or combine them. Perhaps Kierkegaard is next...
