I love bathtime when Mommy lets me play in all those yummy suds. Well, maybe they're not really yummy, but they feel so good, all soft and smooth and sweet smelling, just like me when Mommy wraps me all up in her big pink bath towel after my bath. I just want to pile those warm suds up bigger and bigger until Mommy can't find me anymore. Then I sneeze and Mommy knows where I am all clean and pink and ready for my shampoo.
But if I get whiney or sassy with backtalk, I find out just how yummy soap is not! Mommy never misses a chance to clean out my mouth and all of my face with her big soapy washcloth. She likes to give me mouthsoapings, says it makes for quieter bathtimes and a prettier babyface when she's done soaping it. That's the only part of bathtime I don't really like 'cause sometime she gives me a bathbrush spanking along with the mouthsoaping and that is no fun at all, but as Mommy says, sometimes "soap happens." She also likes to tease me then and play her game of "Soooo pink...who's my little girl who is Sooooo PINK?" Makes me blush all the pinker when she shows me in the mirror how pink my bottom is. Mommy just laughs and gives me a big hug and kiss.
I'd love to meet any other babies or Mommies who think bathtime is special too (even you who know about giving or receiving mouthsoapings)
