For the cover of their 1966 single "Have You Seen Your Mother, Baby, Standing In The Shadow?" the Rolling Stones were dressed as airplane stewardesses. For those of you who are curious, they appear as "Sara" (Mick Jagger), "Milly" (Keith Richards), "Flossie" (Brian Jones), "Millicent" (Charlie Watts) and "Penelope," who is seated in the wheelchair (Bill Wyman).

That's a very famous picture not only for the 'drag' content but only 21 years from the end of WW2, Nazi uniform is worn in a year that saw the Beatles in trouble for their controversial Butcher cover for the Yesterday and Today album and record burnings. Very provocative image.
