Yayyyyyyyy, a 2-year-old filly went wire-to-wire in the Preakness Stakes last Saturday, beating a dozen 2-year-old colts for the first time in 8 decades. Usually, a filly will naturally display submissive behaviour in following the 'boys' around the track. -But since Rachel Alexandra started from the outside-post (with the colts aligned inside her), her superior speed forced the 'boys' to naturally display their inherent chase the girl behaviour.
