Way to go Riley! So much for the "my little secret," once it airs on cable...It takes epic guts to come out like that. Good for her! I wish they wouldn't have given her that creepy silence-of-the-lambs background music though, but i guess they had to since the show isn't about mainstream behavior. It's about STRANGE behavior. And strange is creepy on television.

Anybody else laugh at the figure? "Over 4,000 hours a year." Like anybody's counting, and like the large figure makes her any more or less strange.

Thanks for the post! I can't wait to watch it once my cable gets hooked up. I haven't had cable for years. I thought TLC programming was mostly about science and space? You've come a long way, The Learning Channel. Voyeurism beats mysteries of the universe.

Sadly since this is on a show that highlights "strange addictions" it just serves to reinforce the stereotype of this behavior being abnormal. I guess I'm just lucky that one member of my family understands. But, going back to her, yes it is great the she is willing to admit this and be shown on cable T.V., I know I couldn't. :D
