Some of the features are:

- It has a message editor.
- You can private chat with multiple people at once.
- It has sound effects for:

* New messages
* Chatters entering rooms
* Private chat invites

- Also a slick, easy to understand, cuter, and fun interface!
- You chat with your Sissy Kiss member name.
- The security features are a lot better than Xat.

It took me a while to code because it's very advanced, and I wanted to make everything easy to use, which meant making the code very interactive.

If you run into any errors don't worry this usually happens when software is first released. I did many tests on it to remove as many errors as I could. I couldn't find anymore, but they still have a way of popping up when something is first released lol. So just use Sissy Kiss's contact page to let me know about it if you run into any. I'll fix it as soon as I can.

Yay, well done for getting the new chat completed Cristie Luv. It looks very good, not had a chance to try it yet though because no one else was online. I'll post some proper feedback once I've had a chance to use it.

I've got a bit of proper feedback now, I can't get the smilies to work, when I click on the button the menu comes up but it's completely blank. I'm using the latest version of Opera if that helps.

I thought that this was the normal Chat format.

Unlike this line posted here where one keeps typing and when the end
of the line is reached or if I wanted to start a new line I hit the enter key.

With Chat you just keep continually typing disregarding the end of the line - edge of the page whatever and when through hit the enter key to send the message. One continuous sentence/thought with breaks only with a period (. ) but NO enter key to cause the (typewriter) end of line - line feed. When you reach the end of the message then the ENTER KEY is used.

For someone using the Chat function for the first time this can be a bit
annoying in that when you reach the end of the line you normally use the
Enter key to start a new line BUT in this case you send an incomplete text
message which means sending another chat message and then perhaps
making the mistake again and having to send still yet another message.
Chat messages do not need to broken into measureable segments that fit
between page parameters.

Tough but after a while you can get used to it - and screwing up other email text
messages sent in that format. Certainly not one common standard of text
transmission !

I hope you all have been enjoying the new chat! Some glitches have been found, and I've been busy trying to fix them.

I fixed certain situations where someone's name showed up twice, though that can still happen if someone refreshes the page, and joins a room very fast. The extra name should only be there for a couple seconds before going away. That's supposed to happen when someone does that.

There was also other glitches when people's name in the name list disappeared when they didn't leave the chat. I fixed many situations where that could happen, and it also could happen if their computer is very slow, and they have a lot of programs running. So the page freezes, which prevents the browser from telling the website they are still online.

Almost every glitch I've run into in the chat can be fixed by reloading the page, for a quick fix. You can still let me know about it so I can try to stop them from happening again though.

You can also now use the enter button to post a message! I got so many messages about that lol. It was a silly goof by me, I'm too use to coding forums! You can also press Shift + Enter for line breaks if you want those in your message.

I'm on the way to fixing other glitches like smilies, or images not showing up.

Hi sweeties! I've been doing a lot of coding to optimize the new chat, and get rid of any errors that have been found so far, and some may know how much bandwidth chats take up, a jinormous amount if you are not careful, and clever with coding.

I'm almost about to release it again! I had to edit the entire code of the site to optimize the chat because it needed a jquery upgrade. For any fellow geeks the chat runs on PHP, jQuery, and a little bit of MySQL.

I've been getting your error reports by some of you, and I've been wanting to respond to them but I've been so busy fixing the chat I haven't been able to yet, but I will!

There was a couple hours where I accidentally released the new chat too early, and I already saw people in there! lol Sorry about that, that is probably where the errors above came from.

The new chat is open once again!

I needed to upgrade code on the whole site so the chat will have optimized code to run on. Now it works much faster. I've fixed many bugs, and you can use the enter key to send a message now. The smilies, and image button works.

Have fun, and feel free to let me know if you run into anymore glitches. I'll fix them as soon as I can.
