A matter of concern

It has come to my attention that a number of members are leaving Sissy Kiss because they feel they are not welcome here. From what I have heard this is mainly coming from chat room users and it has made me quite sad.

Now I am not pointing the finger at anyone, nor am I accusing people. I do not frequent the chat room very often so I am not sure what goes on in there, however, I have heard some disturbing things.

Firstly I have heard that some members are being chastised for being straight!! If this is true then I find this insulting. As far as I can tell, there are some here who think all sissies either want to be with men, or should be with men. Rubbish!

Another thing that has cropped up is whether someone uses nappies/diapers. Apparently some think if someone doesn't use nappies, then they shouldn't be here. Again rubbish!! The same about being a baby. Although I wear nappies, I do not pretend to be a baby, so should I not be here? Tell me and I will go!!!

Whilst this site is aimed at the sissy adult baby girl, it is a site for sissies, a site for those interested in sissies, those who share common interests. It is not exclusive. If a guy comes here because he likes wearing panties then he should be welcomed, not turned away. If someone is not a sissy but likes to wear girls clothes sometimes, they should be welcomed. And don't forget a sissy does not mean just 'guys', a woman can be a sissy if she wants!

The sissy community is so vast, everyone is different, likes different things, let's not discriminate each other. Christie Luv has worked so very hard to bring us a place we can feel safe, a place we can share problems and a place to have fun, let's not make it somewhere where we pick and choose who has the right to stay here.

I have seen too many treasured members leave because of a very small minority who come here with their own narrow minded views and agendas. Be respectful of others, have fun and keep Sissy Kiss one of the best sissy sites out there!!

These lovely people support all the features in Sissy Kiss to contribute to our community! So it would help so much if you could check them out, and say your from Sissy Kiss. Some even give discounts, or free gifts by mentioning it!

That is disturbing, though news to me, as I don't frequent the chat rooms anymore. But a lot of those categories of rejection apply to me ... I like to think of this as a welcoming and open-minded community, so I hope these sentiments of yours are taken to heart. I myself contemplated leaving once, after a spate of departures (including one of my dearest friends here), but I would hate to have to say a final goodbye to this place. It has helped and supported me, and I would love to think it is continuing to do the same to many others.

That is bothersome littlegirl_inside, such things shouldn't be happening here. I still remember being concerned about whether I'd fit in or not when I joined SK two years ago this July 3rd since I'm not an AB. But I was made assured by Diaprbayb that I would fit in. I certainly wouldn't want to see you leave as you were among the first SK members to make me feel welcome Daryl. Ones sexuality or whether or not they're a sissy, wear diapers or not, cross dress or not don't matter here. A few SK members aren't sissies at all but enjoy our company. What should we do? Kick them out? No way! Rejection is something that needs to be done away with.

I'm not in the chat room that frequently either, and I hadn't heard about this until now.

I'm in agreement with Littlegirl_Inside and Andreea. I can't see any rational reason to exclude anybody based on orientation or preference for diapers or no diapers. There are a lot of definitions of "sissy." Only some of them imply gay, and only some of them imply straight. Only some of them imply diaper wearing, and only some of them don't. Only some definitions of "sissy" imply male, and only some imply female.

(OK, the only definition I know of for "sissy" that specifically implies female is the one where it's simply short for "sister," and although it's very sweet and cute, I'm not sure this site has much to do with it! But hey, it's a definition of the word. Anyway, to get back on topic ...)

I think there's room for all kinds here. In fact, it seems like a crazy idea to me to try to split up the community -- that's how we hurt ourselves, marginalizing ourselves into tiny subcommunities that are easily bullied and victimized. It's not just wrong; it's bad for all of us.

Yeah, this is the first I'm hearing of this too. I've only just recently started visiting the chat room in the evenings and haven't seen it happen (although I'm not saying it doesn't, I just haven't seen it). Quite why anyone would seek to act that way is a mystery and, frankly, nobody here deserves to be chastised for being heterosexual. I find it insulting too, littlegirl_inside, if not prejudiced. We don't accept homosexuality being treated in the same derogatory manner, so the reverse is just as true. Equally as true is the fact that the term "sissy" is for all of us and variety is the spice of life, as they say. Honestly, whoever is orchestrating this behaviour, what right does he/she have to say what "sissy" means when they're clearly in the minority?

If anyone who has been perpetrating this behaviour is reading this thread, I hope you're taking notes . . .

I agree very much Sissy Daryl. Thank you for letting us know! I haven't heard of these things happening either. When I'm the very person here to help with these things hehe.

If anyone has this happen to them in the chat I'm here to help. You can just send an email with the contact form. They can tell me and I can let the mods know about it or do anything thats needed to solve the problem. I want this chat to be very welcoming to diverse people. There are many different types of sissies and people who like AB or fem who don't prefer to be called a sissy. There are people here who are not interested in any of it but just like hanging here because they have friends here or something else. People who don't mind us talking about AB Fem a lot still. I want them all to feel welcome.

I also wasn't aware that was happening, but I've only been in the chat room once.

I agree, this site should be for everyone who has any interest in sissy lifestyle. I dress, but I don't always dress as a sissy when I do. Hell, I only get to dress once every few weeks, and only maybe for 1 or 2 hours.

If we want others to accept us, and we can't accept eachother, that really doesn't bode well for us as a community I'd see, if people are dishing out insults for being different, even if only slightly so.

But I guess like any group, you have open minded people, and closed minded people.

It is intollerable that there are people like this in the chat. Again I say, could we consider an open chat and a chat for members with over 100 posts. Though any super long time member with few posts, but who is say very involved with MSS or something should be able to apply for access. That way there would be a chatroom for all the trolls and one for people who need a safer place. Why not call it "Safe Space" or "Safe Chat". It wouldn't even need much in the way of rules as long as the membership was filtered well.

I declare this now and for all:

Anyone who comes to SK, chat or forum or otherwise, to harass, harm, inflict injury of the soul or troll for gain by their own purposeful will, shall gain twenty-three pounds over the next year; and reguardless of gender will begin to bald in all the wrong places! Mote it be!

I love that army of warriors, they will do great as a front line for dark magical and magical girls like me to stand in back doing what we do best, combining unholy-holy attacks which should never beed seen, ever!

quite frankly… we cud make 2 chats but the real issue is how long it lasts i dont mean to sound arrogant but thers always gonna be some people who ruin it n we cant stop tht all we can do is mod the room as much as we do but to be quite honest when u get about 5,10 pming u for a rp or to ask questions or to throw a tantrum then wer always gonna get people upset it mostly comes from the fact that the rules simply are overlooked by certain types of people.

in the end however the results always the same a negative.

The fact is Sk is an adult place and the rules dont state anything against explicit stuff + the members dont talk to the mods about it. heres the rules btw http://www.mykawaiianime.com/chatguide.html

To really change anything the rules have to be changed and the members need to know them before they're entering the chat.

I have heard of a few members leaving due to this, but I didnt realize it was this big

I do frequent the chat as best I can, and the fact that some people are being excluded is upseting to me

This site is a haven, a shelter from the real world and any with the interests connected should be welcomed.

I agree with Little_girl_inside, and feel we should embrace one another with a sissy hug.

It is what brought us all together here, to share and reach out

Everytime I enter the chat, no matter where I am, I say out loud, "I will make everyone I meet today as welcomed as I was."

I believe should we stand united under a Sissy sun, and it is our duty to welcome new sissies and make them feel at home

I myself was new once after all

And in the chat room, we do have other rooms to do other things that would bother others in main chat, so we dont need 2 chats.

And btw Sophie, it does say in the rules that chatters may talk about sexual things IF it relates to sissiness

Sissiness is our bond after all

(Sorry, I hope this helps, I dont feel well ^^; but I want to help out)
"Cotton streaks of rose tangerine
Shades the sunlight's parting gleam
I can feel the breeze caress my cheeks
Whispering melodies lost inside my heart
Violets and daisies line the fields of the park
As I see Ryobaby, picking flowers before dark
For the Sissy Kiss family playing just as they are.

As evening's twilight blossoms behind
The pale, silver moon arising into the sky
Sweet and girly sissies cradle their dollies
Each grasping a violet flower at their side
Given by the compassionate Ryobaby
Whose verses continue to inspire me
Yet time is fading, forgive my inconsistency
I cry for a dream that's more than make-believe
Forever in your honor, Princess of My Twilight"

After several readings of the above posts, I'm very troubled by all this.
I too have faced the same problems, random people pop up on my chat window
and ask me what my interests are and if I'm a "real" girl.
The moment I tell I'm an AB they close their window.
Some have stuck around and asked me to role play the part of an abusive parent for them,
or help supply a situation in which bondage and harsh punishment occurs frequently.

This is not why I'm a member of Sissy Kiss.
I'm here to share in the joys of being a baby girl,
not to engage in others twisted fantasies.

And even though I understand role playing is an intergal part
of this website, there are simply aspects of sexuality I care not to explore...
especially if it involves a stranger over the internet.

well the thing with the rules is that most members wont read them and il be honest most the really adult pms ive had directed at me often arent consented by and half the time when i try n do something the person will go nuts in the pm and in a few cases theyve even went main with it tryin to make it a huge deal. idealy we would have 2 chats but i dont think thts really possible although we could add a second room to the chat room for rp one for chattin n such between noobs an members

(noob) means new jus incase no one knew

I would love it if we had a non-sexual, non-adult chat channel where us kids on the side could just be ourselves without having to worry too much about some adult invading out delicate balance of order. If I one day felt safe in the main chat I would go there, but just like I don't go to the cappies section and the stories section because they are so adult, this is merely an aspet of me and while I find these sections have no attraction to me usually, I know that for some they surely do.

This is not a site for children like myself, but some sissys and TG sometimes have childlike needs which they need met of a non sexual nature and it would be oh so nice if there was a safe space. Even if it was just a forum area. I would even be willing to try to help keep it safe.

Just thought I'd chime in. It would be lovely to see you in chat sometime oopsie. Despite what this thread might suggest those who try to force their play on others is most certainly in the minority. Most of our chatters are very sweet nice friendly people. And I know that most of us who at one point or another do feel like a more adult chat take it to PM's or another room. That said I will point out a similar issue in that sometimes its the "younger" chatters that are attacking the older ones for not talkin about stuff their interested in. All this aside. There is usually a moderator in the chat such as myself. If I am there and not responding to something happening in main I am 99% of the time still at my computer and able to answer PMs with concerns. The same goes for someone hassling you in PMs This goes for any chatter. They do not need to be afraid to message one of us. Its our job to make the chat a safe and happy place.

It is very heartning to see such a positive response to all this, it just proves what a wonderful bunch we have here. I do want to make it clear that it is a very very small minority that are causing problems, I don't want newbies or anyone else for that matter, thinking we have major issues at Sissy Kiss, but as before I did think it needed to be brought up and I am happy that we have a nice healthy debate going.

With regards to an extra chat room (or two), I do think this could be an answer, or at least helpful. I for one am not opposed to explicit chat, I just prefer to chat about more innocent things, but I am not going to start dictating what people should and should not chat about. My main issue has been about people pming members (as one or two of you have mentioned), asking point blank are they a 'real girl' etc, will they role play and when they do not get the responce they want, they simply close down the chat and move on. For me this is just rude and not in keeping with the loving feeling Sissy Kiss has always been about. If memebers want to role play, be explicit, that is fine, but not at the expense of respect to other members.

A few more rooms designated for certain interests can work or at least be helpful. I know it can work to an extent due to the gay chat room site that I have been going to since Oct 30th, 2005. That site has a room for Hot Action ( speaks for itself eh?) Rough Stuff, Group Orgy, Fetish and others. So Christie could set up a room for Role Play, another for Fetish, another for AB Playing, Keep the main room for regular chat. This can work, although once in awhile one looking for a certain interest might still pop in the main room. It happens in the room (called Friendly) me and my first net friend hang out in, in the gay chat site. We'd send them to the Hot Action room if they were looking for cyber sex.

I dunno, maybe. If I feel safe enough I might just go there and check it out, but I just have had nothing but bad experiences with other chat things in the past. I'm not saying your guys chat is bad, I am just not ready for it yet. Thank you though for the feelings of welcome.
