what you can do is everytime you post something you can choose to receive weekly updates or updates everytime someone coments on it, you only have to click in the subscribe button and pick one of the options

Click on the setting option in the bottom of the screen, then click e-mail and subscription settings. You should be take to the right page to set your e-mail preferences .
