Water based lubricant is a must! You can even use Garnier Fructis conditioner if need me! That's what I used when I was younger!!

water based lube is good for most purposes, but it drys out after a wile. silicone based lube is the best. it was keep you moist and slippery for hours on end.

it really depends on what your wanting to do. for just a quick fuck water based is perfect(cause its cheaper) but if your wanting wear a butt plug for a few hours(or all day if your daring) you need to get some silicone based lube.

I've tried a bunch of different brands out there, and by far the best I think is Astroglide (preferably the Strawberry flavor), or KY lubricant. KY usually puts an added tingly feeling, or warming sensation in their lubricants. Some people like that, and some people don't. Astroglide by far took away any unpleasant feelings, but kept the sexual feelings along with it the best in my experience.

I'll agree with Christie Love. Astroglide is pretty good stuff and KY is definitely a popular lubricant used. Even with lube, I'd say slowly insert it. You can cause some discomfort if you try to go too quickly and I'd definitely recommend an enema prior to usage of the toy so you won't get it messy. Some people also use a condom when they use certain dildos in their holes because they have allergic reactions to what the dildo is made of, plus a condom is easier to lube and helps it slide in!
