I read somewhere many moons ago that fictionmania was moving to new servers but it seems the site has been down for quite some time now. I have to wonder, is it gone for good? It would be such a shame as they had an incredible selection of stories.

I heard the same thing. I did remember seeing something somewhere earlier this month that the server is still not up but work is still going on. So, maybe they will be back soon.

I noticed them down for months now and haven't heard when they will be back, but I am hopeful.

Keep in mind that Crystal's Storysite Site stopped updating on 10/13/08 but came back this month.   That site seems improved after the long hiatus.
