Are Diaper Genie's worth buying? Ive found a lot of used really cheap on craigslist but I'm not sure if they are worth buying even if cheap.

As long as you were not trying to use adult diapers with one the one I have used worked great. One of my friends and his gf also used one and loved it (for their baby). I'm not sure how cheap the liners are for it though.

Ahh good to know. I was going to get one for adult diapers. Do they not fit in the liners?

There might be a model designed for adult diapers but the two I am talking about used a highly propriatary liner system which was a dream for disposing of anything up to the size of a goodnite, but those were pushing it on the large side for what it would take. I would go into a store like walmart and look at the current diaper genie models and see how their liner system works and how large the opening hole is at the top.

My current solution for diaper disposal involves getting a friend to get me the uber costco white trash liner box and then I dispose of the diaper after I wake up from a night wet in it's own liner, I then hide them out of sight incase I have guests over and when I get enough diapers to fill one trash bag I put them all into it and put that one bag in the trash can, so nobody else who lives on the property is any the wiser. (I diaper every night right now because of an accident three weeks ago, but I keep myself really clean and let the diaper breathe during the day before I re-use it and only dispose of it after 3-4 days or when I have used it during the night.) Usually I only have to do this when I am sick, which is when I seem to wet the most, but my health isn't exactly great right now, but it gives me nothing to explain to me why it is happening now. Part of it is that I have always had a small bladder. It took me until I was in an "adult" body in my 20s to be able to hold more than 200ml and even now about 200ml is near my desperation point unless I am really distracted or drinking. Then I can get to 400-500ml, but if I am not drinking and I notice I am this full, the pain is pretty bad and I have to find a restroom asap.

For the few car trips I take which are multi hour, depending if I am alone, or who is with me, I diaper and for movies I often go in a diaper just so I never have to worry about missing any of the movie. I wear plastic panties too over the diaper to keep in the smell and I put perfume or peach oil on the inside of the diaper, so as I wet it, the smell that escapes is sweeter than the normal smell of pee. I guess I don't want to offend anyone sitting next to me who might have to smell the occasional puff of smell than comes out when you shift your seating position.

My body sometimes has to pee every 20-30 minutes, sometimes not for hours, it is totally variable and runs as it pleases. I usually have to get up about 3 times to 4 in an 8 hour sleep to use the restroom, so I am guessing when I sleep part of it is that I don't produce much of that hormone which makes you make less pee when you sleep. Either that or it does make that hormone, but at random times of the day. It's all a big mess and with no health care in this country I doubt I will ever really know all the outs and ins of this issue.

After your first post I did some "research" and read about there "highly propriatary liner system." A lot of people dont like that so with that information I also decided that this wasn't a wise investment.
