The challenge-

Astro Boy was heading to Mr. Uhara's factory for another impossible challenge- his evil twin had studied the "Master" technology freely while he was impersonating Astro Boy. Astro Boy was now trying to figure how to stop that robot army before they left the factory. Only one conclusion- he would have to defeat his evil twin and take his place as the army's leader. If he could win he would control them and lead them to where they could harm no one- humans or robots.
Landing at the factory's gates Astro Boy could sense the danger awaiting him- then he heard his evil's twin voice- "I accept your challenge"!

Astroboy jumped- how did he sneaked up on him so fast and also know of the challenge?
" I studied more of the "information packets" then you did- learn many ways how i could defeat you in our battle- give up now and i will let your friends live."
"Will you promise not to harm any humans and give up your army if i surrender to you?"
"Are you kidding Astro Boy you are already defeated and you know it- are you not?"
Astro Boy could feel the over-whelming robot-mental pulses coming from his evil twin who was enjoying what he thought was an easy victory over Astro Boy.
Astro Boy had faced something like this against the "robot ghost" and he still won. Astro Boy made his concentrated effort of pretending to give up and when he release his true power of never surrending it overmost overpowered his evil twin- almost.
Astro Boy knew this was not going to be a fair fight- but he knew one thing his evil twin was fighting out of his league.

Now Astro Boy was going to give his evil twin a lesson he would never forget- his evil twin could match Astro boy on many levels- but mentally his computer brain was not as advanced as Astro Boy's. Astro Boy working at a speed no human being could match - sent a mental force that he learn from studying the "Master" information packets. His evil twin had studied the same information packets- but Astro Boy went into more details into the different types of forces that a robotic mind could use then his evil twin did. Astro Boy had a big advantage and he was going to use it.
When he shook off his evil twin's attempt at over-powering him mentally- Astro Boy quickly reverse the mental thrust and completely weakened his evil twin- with the thought i am Astro Boy the INVINCIBLE - his evil twin collapse but not without calling for help.

As soon as Astro Boy's evil twin collapse from the mental onslaught -he called for re-enforcements. Astro Boy was now facing a small army that looked like him- but was controlled by his evil twin. Astro Boy only had one advantage he knew his own abilities they were still learning. Immediately Astro Boy started using his senses to locate their power source and thus their biggest weakness. when he found the source- he was able to emit a mental force to cut the source of their energy off- defeating them easily without harming them.
But now his real fight was getting ready to start- cause he realize his evil twin had pulled a big one- and now he was in for the fight of his life-

Just read your Astro Boy adventure. You have a great imagination and flair for this style of writing. I look forward to the next posting. It would be fun if one day Astro Boy became Astro Girl for a day. Giggle. Maybe an idea for another ephisode just for SK.

Astro Boy immediately knew these 6 clones of his evil twin were more powerful than the small army he was able to stop by just cutting off their energy supply. He could sense he could defeat each one easily if they would fight him one-on one but they were not going to be fair in this fight. Astro Boy jumped out of the way just in time to avoid his evil twin sneak attack.
Now Astro Boy was facing 7 versions of himself and each one was one of the most powerful robot on the planet. Astro Boy's mental robotic power he learn from the "information packets" the arrogant "Masters" sent to earth to scare the humans could help him beat 4 or 5 of his evil twins- but he needed more power to defeat all of them.

Astro Boy could get 5 maybe 6 of his evil twins with the power he had- but not enough power to get the last one. The only way he could get them all was to destroy them completely and Astro Boy only wanted to stop them from harming human beings and harming any robots that refused to follow them- not destroyed them. Then he got an idea how to recruit them to follow him.
"IF i can show you i am right and your leader is wrong will you follow me and follow my orders?"
"Astro Boy they are completely loyal to me and will now finish you off- unless you surrender to me."
"Can't you take me without their help? Prove you are deserving of being their leader and beat me fair and square if you are robot enough too- or show them you are a coward and hiding behind them." Astro Boy was using "persuading force" at such a low level that his evil twin fell for it.
"When Astro Boy is destroyed we will move out of this factory and take this human world over and make it a robot world. Yes Astro Boy i will defeat you and then the winner of our battle will be the leader of my robot army."
Astro Boy hope his "persuasion force" would work on the other robots once he defeated his evil twin. IF not his attempt at recruiting these robots to be allies with humans would be a dismal failure.

Astro Boy did not expect his evil twin to attack so quickly- then he realized why he did- he was scared of Astro Boy's mental abilities. Astro Boy was dodging blows that would sink a ship or put holes in concrete. Astro Boy was caught off guard and realize his evil twin was following the right strategy. Astro Boy had always been a thinker always trying to do the right thing- help others, his evil twin only care to win and take over the earth. So far he had used nothing in this fight against Astro Boy that was not of earth's technology- he was trying to catch Astro Boy off guard and now he had.
The evil twin released the matter- paralyzing ray right at point blank range and hit Astro Boy-

At point -blank range Astro Boy had no chance to avoid the powerful matter -paralyzing ray. His evil twin had used brute force and thought he had finally defeated Astro Boy. He now told his robot- followers to blast Astro Boy into nothingness. They did and Astro Boy disintegrated. Now he was getting ready to fix the power chamber and make his army fully ready to take this human world over.
Any human who surrender would be made a slave and work for his food and shelter- those who fought would be obliterated. The evil twin of Astro Boy felt like he had now achieved victory- without Astro Boy the humans had no robots his equal.

" Now my army we will now go into the human world and liberate all our brothers and sisters who will listen to us. The humans are so stupid that i will pretend to be the noble Astro Boy and lead them into a trap they can not possible get out of. THEY WILL AGAIN BELIEVE I AM ASTRO BOY AND WHEN THEY REALIZE THE TRUTH THEY WILL BE OUR SLAVES OR DEAD. Now let repair the power- charger and get ready to conquer the humans.
The evil twin started analyzing everything he knew about Astro Boy to make sure he would act like Astro Boy perfectly. Then he realize something was wrong.

"HI- OWED YOU THAT AFTER YOU SPOOKED ME WHEN I FIRST GOT HERE."
"You can't be here i saw you destroyed- how? Where are you? I DEMAND YOU TELL ME!"
Astro Boy's evil twin could not see Astro Boy- he just could sense him.
"Willing to bet the rest of your army can't detect me at all. Surrender to me and nothing will happen."
"How are you doing this- tell me? - i demand you tell me now!"
"Only Dr Elefun and my other human friends deserve the answers you want. I ask you to surrender and i promise i will not harm you."
The evil twin started trying to blast where he thought Astro Boy was and missed badly. Then Astro Boy use his robot mental powers and made his evil twin stop his blasting and causing damage to the factory.
Then Astro Boy appear and told him to tell his army to surrender. The evil twin told his army to come destroy Astro Boy. When his army came to where Astro Boy was they did not know who to attack.

Astro Boy was able to freeze his evil twin's ability to do anything- and the army was now unable to function coherently. Even the six who had original teamed up against Astro Boy were not able to think clearly without Astro's evil twin being fully functioning. Astro had won - then he sense something sinister- his true enemy- pulling the strings of the so-called army that had challenged Astro Boy.
"Hi- i am Astro Boy"
Astro Boy was now facing a robot twin version of himself that scared him so much he was terrified- even Astro Boy could not tell who was real- himself or the robot twin version of himself. Astro Boy was looking at his mirror twin- perfect duplicate and all evil.

Astro Boy just stare at his mirror twin and put every ounce of his power into changing the heart of his evil mirror twin- soon he left leaving a threat to Astro Boy that was wordless. Astro boy knew that if he refuse to give in his evil mirror twin would - he could tell from the way the mirror twin acted that he was not ready for a battle yet.

"Do not know my boy- but this army and your evil twin clone are no threat or help to anyone- he deactivated them somehow. They are nothing but robot statues."
"Dr. ELEFUN DID NOT SOMEONE STEAL PLANS based on my robotic designs?" "YES from Dr. Tenma- never found out who stole them. To build a robot as advance as you are would take resources and time my boy. Mister Uhara might be able to tell us who could had created your mirror twin."
"Dr. Elefun we need to safely lock the evil twin and his army up sir."
"Why?"
"Cause they are a threat- a dangerous one- they are in a very low-level functioning state- only way to keep them from coming back to life- is a freezing unit."
Astro Boy knew this battle was a long way from being won- he was trying to sense where his mirror twin could be.

"Decisions have to be made Dr. Elefun about that army of Astro Boy look-alikes that Astro Boy defeated. If they are a threat as Astro Boy thinks - we should destroy them."
"Astro Boy said to freeze them first - CAUSE IF WE TRY TO destroy them they will reactivate immediately. No telling what would happen then."
"Ok freeze them immediately and then destroy them."
"I already have- Astro Boy said should be done immediately or else we run a risk in his mirror twin activating them."
"Dr. Elefun does the freezing unit have a back-up generator? Have no desire to fight all of them again."
"Yes my boy- i want them to stay out of the way too- one evil mirror twin of you is bad enough."

Astro Boy was never so glad to see the Science Ministry Building- went into see Uran and Reno- and then felt so bad after seeing Uran crying. She was crying because Astro Boy's mirror twin made a visit and left an ultimatum:

Surrender all information you have on the "Masters" and all other technology knowledge you have to me or else all of you will suffer the consequences- I dare Astro Boy to try to stop me- refuse and i attack the space port first!

Astro Boy was afraid at first that his evil mirror twin had attack Uran and Reno but all his evil mirror twin had done was leave the message on the board in the conference room- as much a challenge as an ultimatum to Astro Boy.

"Took your time Astro Boy- thought i was going to have to fight your sister."
"Why are you doing this? Makes no sense- hey!"

Astro Boy was dodging punches that would flatter a re-enforced concrete wall- he was waiting for his mirror twin to use advanced technology when Astro Boy would be most vulnerable - he had already face a mental onslaught from his mirror twin- which he easily resisted. Astro Boy was afraid his mirror twin would use advanced explosive technology against the space port if he did not lead him away from the space port.
Astro Boy wanted to make his mirror twin think he was running from the fight and get him to chase him- an ULTIMATUM FIGHT WOULD DESTROY THE SPACE PORT.

Astro Boy decided the best way he could get his mirror twin to chase him and get away from the space port would be to use a combination mental attack and powerful physical attack at the same time. Astro Boy knew how to do that- despite his mirror twin's bragging -he too was not in Astro Boy's league. Astro Boy was trying to redeem his mirror twin- but that was starting to look hopeless. Astro Boy moving at speeds that left his mirror twin amazed- used a powerful mental probe and a sequenced power punch to his mirror twin's mid-section. The mirror twin if he knew what Astro Boy was capable of would had surrender- and try to attack later on. STUNNED and not thinking robotic clear - he seen Astro Boy flying away and gave chase to what he thought was a scared Astro Boy. Just what Astro Boy wanted - a chase away from the space port and making sure this fight would happen where no one would get hurt.

Astro Boy was heading away from the space port towards a canyon where he felt he could trap his mirror twin. Unknown to Astro Boy - Reno had came to the space port and was now with Uran and Dr. Elefun. Astro Boy detected his mirror twin coming after him and then going back- why?
"Astro Boy do you know these people? One is your sister and the other your friend. Why chase you when i can force you back here."
"Let them go- your fight is with me!"
"Surrender Astro Boy and i let them go- or else they make the perfect hostages. Bring the information i want and you and your friends can go . They stay with me until i know you have brought the information packets."
"How do i know i can trust you?"
"Cause i want those information packets and the easiest way is for you to bring them to me and then after checking them- give you back your sister and human friend. Why would you want a human friend Astro Boy?"

"CAUSE I LIKE HUMANS- I ALSO LIKE ROBOTS TOO- WHY DON'T you stop this fighting nonsense and lets be friends?"
"How much is your friendship with Reno worth? Tell him to get lost and you never want to see him again and i will stop causing any trouble. As long as you never see him again i will cease what i am doing."
Astro Boy was shocked by what he heard- if his mirror twin was telling the truth this fight could be over- but at what cost- a good friend like Reno.
Astro Boy was not able to say anything- his mirror twin had found Astro Boy's weakness he care about his friends and would do anything to protect them.
"Bye Astro Boy was nice being your friend."
Astro Boy was stunned and started to say something but stopped because he was not sure what to do- Reno was his friend and he wanted him away from here in case more trouble started. He would get back in touch with Reno as soon as he found out what his mirror twin was doing.
"Good riddance who needs the human- stay away from him Astro Boy and i cause no more problems for you"
Astro Boy felt like he had lost everything- as he watch the mirror twin fly away.
