Sorry about the problems you were having with your profile. Welcome back!

Thanks : ). I didn't explain properly though. It wasn't a problem with the profile, it was a problem with someone in real life finding some clues about my "other, sweeter" life here. I wasn't very careful hiding my self and there were some things that lead to me, so I had to "erase" myself from the web, so to speak. I'll be more careful now : ).

And thanks again for everyone's welcome : ) *hug*.

Using browsers that don't track any activities or history is recommended. I also have a thumb drive that is encrypted with TrueCrypt (free) that I take with me on the road. That way I can be myself on a PC, save files, make cappies, and never leave anything on the hard drive. If the drive is found or questioned it shows up as not being formatted when connected to a PC. You have to select the device, mount the drive, check your settings, and enter a password before you can unlock the disk but once you do the encryption is transparent and you can use it as you would a normal hard drive.

I feel very comfortable knowing that even if my portable stash is discovered it's not like they'll be able to do anything with it. I back it up to another drive so if it gets erased it's no big deal. If I'm confronted with it I'll just say that I forgot to format it and do that in front of them which would erase the disk.

I'm actually making it sound complicated but it's quite easy and free. I recommend it. You can also do this to folders on a PC but beware that if the drive crashes you will have very few recovery options!
