These cappies are all excellent.
Perhaps you could make the text a little bigger, though.
Thanks for another fine story.
But I always hated Vancian magic in Dungeons and Dragons. It never made any sense, and always seemed like a transparent ploy to limit the characters.
I'm glad to see it updating, but I am finding it a lot harder to roleplay now. With all respect meant, I've been having difficulties with some things;
*The forum keeps telling me a two minute wait is needed between each reply I make, which is rather a long wait if I need to reply to six or seven topics like I usually do when I log in. Will the delay between replies go back to its original timing?
*A lot of my longer posts (while still within the character limit) just won't go at all when I hit the reply button; they sit there and nothing happens when I try to post them up.
*The quick reply button seems to have gone missing; I tended to use Quick Reply most of the time when I posted unless I was quoting someone, so that's been a bit troublesome for me, too, especially since the site's still running pretty slowly for me.
I'm sure it'll all be running smoothly soon, but I thought I ought to say something, because at the moment I'm having a lot of trouble adjusting. ._.

"Best read ever. Honest"
For instance, I can't really search for stories anymore. Your new search function doesn't let my search by sub forum (like searching just in the story time section), the 'topic' search option no longer works as it did (searching the whole topic for key words and returning topics that match), and I can't even use Google to search anymore, as all of the story urls have changed!
Also, the little strip at the bottom that follows you along the page is a bad thing on tablets. It makes it really hard to search from my HP Touchpad because I have to wiggle the page around a bit, touch down where it's supposed to be, and basically jump through a bunch of hoops to get it to show up.
It's nice that you're trying to stylize, but functionality should always come first.
If I may make some simple suggestions to fix these problems:
1) Return all the buttons to their original positions, AND offer the moving strip of buttons; this is a best of both worlds option.
2) Add an 'advanced search' link in the search bar that takes you to the old search page.
3) For tablets and cell phones, perhaps you can have an alternative layout with the moving strip stuck at the bottom of the page.
Thanks for all your hard work, and I hope some of these problems get fixed soon. I miss some of my old sissykiss stories!
