Author’s Notes
I do not own the rights to the brand and it’s TV Series in anyway shape or form whatsoever. This is purely a fan based piece of fiction, fantasy, that has been inspired both by the Original She-Ra TV series and the Reboot 2019 TV Series. She-Ra and the Princesses Of Power. To which I have taken only a few things from each TV Series, as well as the original He-Man Masters Of The Universe TV Adventures, borrowing and changing a few character names from all of the mentioned shows.
Prologue
“In the very beginning, far back beyond all that is or ever was, known. There once was the great five skulls of power. Stone, Diamond, Obsidian, Silver and Gold. But these such things are from the forgotten time and they are only known to the First Ones. Who have themselves, become a long forgotten people, only one myth and legend of old still remains to this very day and that is the legend of She-Ra. A mighty powerful warrior princess.”
----------------------------------------------------------------
It was unlike anything ever seen or ever known, it had its own certain beauty, if one can call it that. For it was a huge skull, though not a complete one, but it was a skull none the less, and it was as gothic looking as any other skull ever known. Yet, at either side, stood majestic like towers, adjoining a wall to a smaller, but yet two equally beautiful towers and these four towers alone were known as the Four Tours Of Old. Though no one can really say why, for they have always been known as that.
The skull itself, it had the typical two sunken eye sockets, a hole for where a nose once used to be, with its jaw wide open, were tusk like struts, that almost looked like they are part of the jaw bone, set into a gaping yawn, or something. But no, they are what they were, tusks or fangs, no one really knows, for sure, either way, they jut out from the side cheek bones in a way that is definitely not natural, for any skull formation.
Dead centre of the mouth of the skull was oddly a wooden door, not one made of solid iron or something else even far more stronger, but wood, of all things. But there was one thing even odder or more gothic about this oddly shaped castle, as it was stood upon a very high and craggy mountain top, over thousands of feet high. So how was anyone supposed to gain entrance to such a castle? And even if the door could open, there was an immediate over a thousand foot fall, straight to the very bottom.
But no matter how odd this castle was, it was one of legend. It was Skull Castle. An apt name, all things considering and inside of this castle there was a woman of heavenly beauty, she had long shimmering golden hair, she had and angelic figure, she was stood, wearing a short white dress, that had gold wings atop of the bust, one on each side, in the centre of the dress, was a golden flower of some kind, with 8 golden petals, and at its centre there was a blue gem stone. Beneath this was a golden belt, with two arm guards to match, along with a pair of boots, hung behind her was a red cape.
And she also held a sword of gold and steel, but it was a type of steel unlike any steel known to Eternian kind. The handle and the cross-guard of the sword were of solid gold. And not just any ordinary gold at that. Set into the centre of the handle, between the shaft and the cross-guard. There was a huge blue gem stone. Jutting right out of the bottom of this piece of golden artwork, was a mighty and most powerful blade. This sword was no ordinary sword, this sword was the Sword of Power.
So how could such an angelic woman like the one stood inside of Skull Castle, be able to wield such a sword? Ah, well. This was no ordinary woman either, for this was She-Ra, a Warrior Princess. With one all powerful and mighty swoosh of the sword in the air and slam, smash, the tip of the sword hit the floor of Skull Castle. "She-Ra. No, what are you doing?” shrieked a strange hooded skeletal figure. Who or what was he? And what was he doing being inside Skull Castle.? Could this be the owner of this castle? No, not so, despite who and what he was, this castle did not belong to him.
This
was the evil Skeletor. A most evil and powerful being in all of Eternia. He was
not even a man, just the shell of one. Or more precise. A Skeletal form of a
man, that was somehow alive and with powers, the likes no one had ever seen
other than the power of She-Ra. “I am doing the one thing that no one ever
could or can do.” Replied She-Ra in a harsh tone of voice towards Skeletor.
“But the power of Skull Castle.” Roared Skeletor in shock and anger.
“Belongs to no one.” Remarked She-Ra. Knowing only too well, that by destroying Skull Castle, she would also in fact be destroying the very thing in which she draws her power from, she will be in a way destroying herself too. "No.” Screamed out Skeletor, in rage, as he vanished, he appeared at the very heart of Skull Castles, power. But just as he thought that he was going to get and obtain the power for himself, there was an almighty and powerful blast, that not only destroyed Skull Castle and She-Ra, but also Skeletor too, which only lead the way for something even far more evil and greater than Skeletor to fill the power vacuum that had been created.
He now had the power over all who lived on Eternia. His name, was The Grand Horde. But he was no more of a man than what Skeletor was, in fact he was of skeletal form like himself, but somehow he was a machine too. He was some sort of a Cyber Skeletal Being, as best as anything that can describe the Grand Horde. What he was exactly, no one really knows, but his evil was equally as well known to that of Skeletor. Some people may mistake the two either being the same person or somehow related to one another, but that notion simply was just not possible.
And so it came to pass, that all of Eternia came under the evil rule of the Grand Horde, who’s beloved king and queen were reduced to nothing more than mere slaves, with a son, yet to be born. He was perhaps Eternia’s only hope. If he can be trained somehow without the Horde or The Grand Horde himself, from knowing about it. No one else dares to lift a finger against the Grand Horde, who’s powers are unstoppable, they may even be so for their yet to be born son. Regardless of that fact, he may be the only one somehow to be able to do something.
“You want me to be a what?” Remarked a skinny and not quite so tall young man, who was 18 in physical age. For he stood at 5ft 4in tall, where most boys his age on Eternia were within the 6ft height range with rippling muscles etc. Adam had short blonde hair and blue eyes.“What is so great about that? Do you know that they can actually die?” Remarked the youth in anger at his mother. “Come now Adam, you know very well that no warrior is an immortal one.” Replied Marlene, once former queen of Vanguard.
“Yeah, that’s my whole point Mom.” Replied Adam very harshly, who hated his very name by the way. For which Marlene, could never truly understand as to why that was. “Warriors have short life spans, even those that do and have lived long come to an end eventually.”
“So?” Asked Marlene, who could not see anything wrong with the fact that her son could potentially be or get killed at some point in his life, should he ever of course become a warrior and try to defeat The Grand Horde. It was an impossible task, to be sure and Adam knew that, but the question was, would he now be willing to accept his fate?
