hi everyone ive tried a few different kinds of diapers and none of them have been quite what im looking for. i tried depends pull ons (not diaperish enough) then i had some kroger diapers loved the feel love the look loved the nice diapery krinkle but weren't absorbant enough and then i tried another kind of depends with tapes and all but again they're suppose to be discrete so they don't krinkle and you have to tear down the periforrated side babies can't do stuff like that its hard enough changing myself. so what im getting at is i was wondering if you guys have tried any diapers that have the babyish feel/sound (must have the tapes) and are a really good absorber like the depends and are affordable ive thought about buying some bambino's but they're just a little out of my price range so please if you will a little help?

If you want great baby diapers, you gotta go with bambinos. They're so expensive though, and I'm so broke! But you can't even breathe without the crinkle. My daddy always laughs at me when we have those because I make so much noise. Otherwise there's the...um...I can't remember if the brand was 'attends' or 'affirm,' but they had some good ones with the tapies on them and stuff. Even though they look alarmingly adult, you CAN go on ebay and buy the pretty design tape they put across the front.

If it came down to it and you were desperate, you could always wear a pull up under a baby-style diaper for decent absorption. I sure hope this helps at all, i know my info was a little vague. :-/

Get the Krogers then and add a liner or two I suppose then. That aught to do the trick from what I'm hearing here.
As a side note I have no idea what Kroger diapers are like having only just heard about them (you Americans get all the cool stuff...) but I thought I would try to tidy up what's been said so far.
Little boy blue come blow your horn.

And where is the boy who looks after the sheep?
SHE's under a haystack diapered neat!

well kroger is a grocery store company and so they have pretty much their own brand of everything including diapers and so since they were that grocery stores brand they were really cheap but they weren't very good at holding down a situation which is why i got the depends but now they aren't the diapery material that krinkles and such but anyways i'll find something one of these days

For a long time I trusted the Depends brand until most recently, they changed packaging and got really cheap on the material. The tapes themselves often ripped right off when I tried putting one on, and the plastic felt more cloth-like than anything... after a single heavy wetting the diaper was done for. I quickly switched to Attends and have been enjoying the extra bulk between my legs. With better tapes and refined plastic that crinkles as I crawl,
I just buy some cute stickers and decorate my diapers as I see fit!

I love huggies, if you can fit in them they are the ones that look more babish

I perfer Pampers. They may be baby diapers, but they now make them in larger sizes and they hold real well at wetting, and they stretch real well too... Never did me wrong :)

BTW, little_boy_pink, you haven't heard of Krogers? If you do not mind me asking, Where do you live? Far away?
"Cotton streaks of rose tangerine
Shades the sunlight's parting gleam
I can feel the breeze caress my cheeks
Whispering melodies lost inside my heart
Violets and daisies line the fields of the park
As I see Ryobaby, picking flowers before dark
For the Sissy Kiss family playing just as they are.

As evening's twilight blossoms behind
The pale, silver moon arising into the sky
Sweet and girly sissies cradle their dollies
Each grasping a violet flower at their side
Given by the compassionate Ryobaby
Whose verses continue to inspire me
Yet time is fading, forgive my inconsistency
I cry for a dream that's more than make-believe
Forever in your honor, Princess of My Twilight"

Real far away, thousands of miles to the east and further north than I would like.

If you really want a nice krinkle you can get it for cheap, take some grocery bags and put a small hole on each side and pull it up slowly over your diaper so that you don't tear a big hole it it, this way it will act like plastic panties and make a great krinkle if you pull normal panties over them, and if you do tear it a little just pull another bag over

Northshore medical had a sample package, pick you size and they would send you 5-6 different manufactures diapers.

Otherwise, Molicare or Tranquility® Fitted Briefs (all thru the night) are the best for me If you exclude Bambinos.
