I like the first artwork sent by Baby Amy, it has a heavy metal vibe to it blended with the softness of feminity. The second one stands out to me too as it reminds me of The Phantom of the Opera, I can see the influence of that in the artwork. The latest one is good too, better then I could draw.

Fank you Christie Luve first fwo your comment and me only happy to tell you not only how me drew the self portrait but also why.

Me will deal wivs the why first, sadly me haveths no camera or any pictures of my own and and a photo from one of those photo booths is about three pounds or more in English Sterling. Miki haseths wanted a picture of me for the longest time and I have felt pwetty bad not being able to give her one as well as shareth one for all of you here at sk. So me needed a challenge to help me get back into drawing again and what better way than to draw my own portrait.

Now as to the how, well before me go into that it waseths a lot cheepre t buy onescetch pad and a couple of pencils, once me had those, there waseths only weally one other way me cuds draw my own portrait, a mirror of course, if's me iseths not mistaken Leonarado Da Vinci used the same or simular technique to draw his self portrait.

Me waseths surprised how quickly me dids the picture in, me used only the one shade of HB Pencil, me sat on my bed wivs my bathroom mirror placed and ballance upon my pillow, drawing sat on my bed was actually the only best place fwo me to be able to draw the self portrait. Me then studied my features fwo a few moments, then put my pencil to paper and began the rough outline of my hair, yeth my hair iseths truly that long, just in case you are curious, it comes down to half way past my back.

Me do have a big nose, that may not be all that noticable fwom the picture, but me drew my nose as close to twue form as possible, the out line took on shape and me worked on the features of my face, me made only few corrections as me drew the portrait, the lips were easier fwo me to do as me have drawn lips before, so drwaing my own lips me wubs say most was the easier part to draw, drawing eyes in equal shape and form iseths the hardest to draw, noses even more so, so me settled for the basic outline and shape of my nose.

glad me have long enough hair, ears are harder still and me wubs have pwobably ended up looking more wike Dumbo the elephant ifs me hads twied to draw my own ears, giggles. Me used light touch wivs my pencil to do the lighter shade fwo the eyes and, the face and my neck, me applied presure wivs my pencil to do the darker shades fwo the pupils, the eye brows, the hair and my eye-lashes. Oh by the way the writing of my signiture iseths Galligraphy ifs me haseths spelt this correctly, pwease someone let me knows., fank you. Fank you Sister Madi fwo your comment, my version of Pandora is not of course the more popular Greek image, but me wubs wike to fink my interitation of her in the ictorian Dress and the Gotic background and the image of her aura and being drawn into the box creats a good vivid imagery. Fank you Sister CC Fwo your comment two, it takes natural hand to make ure the right presure is applied in shading, ifs me iseths correct, it iseths a guide line in pencil art recommended to do when creating two shades but with one pencil.

They're both very nice Baby Amy. I remember Dr Who from my childhood days, the show aired on PBS channel 12 in my area of the US. I did get to watch the show a few times but back then much went over my head about the show.
