I *really* love boots!

Long-time lurker, first time poster. Been wanting to post some pics and things here for a while, but it's taken a while for the planets to align....I finally got a tripod for my camera ;p

Anyhoo, I was wondering if it would be cool for me to post some pics of my collection....

Why of course it would be cool for you to post pics from your collection! As long as they aren't in violation of our site's policy (read the forum rules), if you have any really neat pictures you'd like to share with us, go right ahead.

Thanks for coming out of lurk mode and participating. I look forward to your contributions to what we're about. Now that you have a tripod for your camera, fire away. I use the self-timer feature on my digital camera when taking pics of myself. If you're fortunate enough to have someone take pictures of you who knows how to get you to pose real pretty, so much the better. In any event, I look forward to seeing whatever you come up with.

I'd like to see the planets aligned, but unfortunately its snowing out so I can't see the sky. :)

Well, made it back from out of town. Now have the chance to post some pics of a few pairs tonight - maybe more tomorrow. Need to work on ideas for self-portraits and posing with the tripod obviously ;p

My first pair of uggs - bought at least 6 years ago used on ebay (but still great) - basically went for about as unisex as you could get - generic tall. Normally wear them all the way up or a slight roll at the top.

My second pair - I'm pretty sure this was only my second pair, actually started as a pair of faux-fur lined slippers. Liked them, but wanted something more. Sent them to a seamstress who'd already done some custom work for me and she was able to modify them into boots.

A little different to say the least. Didn't have a great feel for what size I needed either at the time.

The third pair of boots or so was a sort of ugg-clone in black. Not bad at all. Softer in general I think.

Again, going for some variety with the pics, but normally wear them all the way up.

Thanks. Hoping to do quite a bit more in the future. I meant to post these earlier, but had some technical issues recently.

I picked up these Sundance Uggs pretty soon after the last set of pics - love the look.

Not sure if anyone was expecting these...it was inevitable that I'd pick up a pair of these boots eventually. Ugg Fluff Momma - got a pretty good price for them online. Sadly, the lining, while comfortable isn't nearly as nice as the outer layer. Extremely soft.

Around this time I also found out about celtic-sheepskin.co.uk - a great place for certain types of boots. I tried their knee highs originally, but just a little too tight around the calves - sold them. But some of their other boots are even better and just about as tall.

My last set of pics for the moment - my most recent purchases - really only needed one pair since they're identical but for color....but it was such a great deal.

Two pairs of Report Meloni boots - in brown and black - also adaptable in height.

Now, that takes us up to about Nov this past year...Dec is when I actually started looking for more clothes/outfits and trying some *different* things (outside of a few exceptions previously).

I've started buying some completely different types of boots recently....and I absolutely love them! In the next few weeks I hope to do another photoshoot like this with my new boots - and a different outfit.

Also thinking about finding pics of all the clothes I've purchased recently and sticking them in a gallery here...

Soooo, I'm also open to taking more pics of the boots I've already shown here too if anyone wants to see more of one pair or another and with a different outfit(s) or anything like that.... ;p

As I was saying....;p - A few months ago I started trying some different styles of boots. And I love these too - a lot different - and not necessarily as comfortable, but still very fun.

This first pair was actually a mistake...they sent the wrong color. Wasn't worth it to send it back...but I got a discount on the next pair.

And yes, I am woefully aware that that cinch does a pretty poor job as a corset...definitely looking at more options for the future.

Finally, my most recent acquisition....decided I needed another pair of black high heeled boots, but maybe a slightly more "conventional" height ;p

A nice little pair of Diba boots from Amazon.

That's about it for the moment. Will probably pick up some more later this year...might look at designing around a pink outfit in the future too.

Actually, come to think of it - I have one more pair of very special boots left. Been saving them for a very special outfit - which hasn't shown up yet...should be able to get some pics of them this summer :)

And again, I don't mind taking more pictures of any of the boots I've shown here - and I do have a few more different outfits I could show if folks have preferences...but it'll have to wait a few months (out of town for work purposes).
