Sooo, here I am now just to initate a bit of Princess talk.

What can I say? You all know me, I love my princesses, especilly Rapunzel, you know how much I would give for a Rapunzel dress?

What about you? What dress do you guys want?

Or just whose the best?

Are we talking Disney princesses or is it open on the subject? I may not be a huge follower of Disney but I do love fairy tales - the older and closer to the original legends the better for me.
My favourite of all the fairy tale princesses is got to be Vasilisa - especially the tale 'Vasilisa the Beautiful'. Born from Russian folklore but older then most of the fairy tales we know, you find that this one is overlooked due to elements of it being taken and added to the more well known stories (Cinderella for example). There are several other tales featuring Vasilisa such as "The Frog Princess' and 'The Fire Bird and Vasilisa'. I'm not sure why she is such a favourite to me, possibly because her legacy has not been diluted by the entertainment industry.
Anyway, I hope you don't mind me talking of her here today. Thanks for putting this up sweetie, nice to see a discussion post.

Also really gotten into Rapunzel lately, saw Tangled on TV a few months ago and instantly wondered why it wasn't already one of my favourites hehe!
Plus Belle and Cinderella will always have a special place in my heart as two of my earliest faves
