I have been wanting to be a girl for a while now, but no one else knows (irl).

I have been thinking about going to school this friday dressed as a girl, but I dont know what people, more importantly my friends, will think and how everyone will react.

Anyone's input is welcome and greatly appreciated.

Your living situation and level of education matter greatly.

If you still live at home and are, like, a senior in high school, don't do it.

If you're on your own and in college, go for it.

All too may schools nowadays have made it clear, they don't want to be babysitters for children who don't know how to conduct themselves. Look at how many children even below 10, have been expelled or suspended for even inadvertently violating zero tolerance rules regarding weapons. Or, for coming into conflict with exaggerated sexual harrassment paranoia. So if you choose to go drag (DRessed As a GIrl), make sure you get written permission from the powers-that-be.

Hey everyone,

thank you to the both of you for replying.

I just wanted to say that I really appreciated your advice, and wanted to let you know that I did decide to go today in my girl clothes (although no one noticed as I had my usual sweater over my top).

It was a really interesting experience, not knowing what will happen and stuff :)

Luckily for me my school is on the small side, with only like 600 of us, and no one found out (although i would have liked for it to be different hehe).

I thank everyone on this site, for without you gals (and/or guys i guess hehe), i wouldnt have been able to do such a thing and to connect with my inner girl.
