Just curious - I was looking through the Story Time forum, and maybe it's just me, but there doesn't seem to be a lot of variation in character names. Which got me wondering - what name does everyone here go by, when you're in the role that you love?

Personally, I love the name April, and that's the name I go by when I'm in my female mindset It was what my parents were going to name me if I was girl instead of a boy, and I've always liked it.

as my username says, i go by brittany when im dressed up. i got my name from a friend that i had in 9th grade. she was really nice, really nerdy, compassionate, hyper active, and i just loved her. i was gonna ask her out, but i didnt have the guts to do it.

and then she got pregnant and moved to florida.

I picked Alice mainly because i love Alice in Wonderland and I've always wanted a similar adventure to happen to me.

I'm Rachael. I choose my name for 2 reasons. It's close to my real name & there was a girl who stayed for a few weeks next door to where I lived in my teens. Even though it was only a short time, we became good friends.

Mine is Jennifer, and I truly love my girl name.
Sometimes I go by "Jenny" but Jennifer is what I prefer :)
I chose this name For two reasons:
First, I used to have a crush on my best friend's sister
whose name was Jenny... and second I'm a huge fan of "Back to the Future"
so I constantly envisioned myself as being Marty's high school sweetheart,
all perky and encouraging... *sighs blissfully* ah, those were the days :)

I like the name Tabitha, I guess I got it from watching old "Bewitched" show with Darren and Samatha. I used to want to be the cute diapered little girl when I watched the program as a boy. I also like the name Pixie, she is my favorite model at "Punished Brats", boy can she take a spanking.

My first GF was named Emilie. She died in a car accident 7 years ago, and I guess it is a way for me to never forget her and the time we spent together!

I use "Rena", which is a shortened form of Serena. It's based on the anglicized name of Chibiusa from Sailor Moon. I do use Raquel as my middle name, and some of my friends call me Raqy or Kellie.

Wows... cool beans! Everyone's got stories behind their names!

Mine has no special significance. I just spent days letting names randomly form in my head while looking at my pictures, until something was "right". I don't know any Lana, though I have heard the name before.

And then when I went to play "Second Life", Lana was taken... so my longer name became Lanalily.

So I'm Lanalily, or Lana for short.

My name is amanda. Amanda dawn pratt. Ok for me amanda dawn pratt is perfect because of its descriptive power. Amanda is pronounced a-man-duh. And I am dawning into my feminine self. And pratt well a pratter or pratt is an english word for jokester or comedian. So I am a-man-duh dawn pratt its my joke to the world

My full sissy name is Annabell Marie, but I go by Anna. I chose it for two reasons 1. I wanted to keep the same initials that I have (AMP, my boy name being Alastair Matthew) and 2. I chose the names themselves because I thought thier meanings suited me. Annabell maens "easy to love" and Marie means "Bitter" both of which I think I am.

The first person I told, a friend on WoW, gave me the name Missy Sweetkiss and I honestly think of that as my name. I also think of my legal name as my name. Nothing wrong with having two names.

She takes any excuse to use it, and has never used my actual name (she could, thanks to RealID, to my great joy.

If I ever have a 2nd WoW account might very well use Missy Sweetkiss for it.
