My experience has been rather disappointing with off the shelf stuff and I ended up making my own a long time ago. Having said that, I'm sure there are others here that have some excellent links they can provide. But for me, it's not enough for the diaper to be thick--I want it super soft and cushiony too. And I fear that if you double or triple conventional diapers, they lose their pillowy-ness.

This may sound odd, but I start with a thin foam layer (I think its used for upholstery--I get it from fabric shops), three of them, with the top and bottom layers being just a narrow strip about 6" wide (the middle layer is about a foot wide). Then I wrap that in the softest cheesecloth I can buy until I get the thickness I want. When it's finished, it looks identical to a conventional cloth diaper but its uber soft and comfy. You could take two regular thickness diapers and place one or more layers
of turkish bath towels in between sewing the outside edges together all
around for an extraordinary diaper.
You could like the previous post insert one or more layers of thin foam
padding sandwiched in among the towels.
It would be a good idea to sew a quilted type pattern to prevent bunching
and shifting of the towels inside this diaper sandwich.
One plus is the extra absorbancy of this arrangement.
And a minus the extra time in washing & drying the diaper for reuse.
But there you have an oversized bulky diaper to content yourself with!

I don't think you are going to find an 'easy' link.
What you need or want is pretty much a custom made item and with
halloween just around the corner now is the perfect time to have that
custom job made as costume without any of the embarrassment of doing it
at other times of the year.
Find someone who does sewing and explain you want an oversized diaper
for an adult baby costume.
Or if you are a recent entry to college you could explain that it is a frat-
sorority pledge stunt.
In any event a tailor/seamstress could use the business to create your
fantasy outfit and the timing could not be more perfect.
