In those pictures from the turn of the century, often the only way to tell girls and boys apart was the hair parting. Girls in the middle, boys at one side. Oh to be the boy in the third pic in all his frills and lace. I hope he has suitably frilly and lace trimmed satin drawers on underneath.

Those are some very old pictures. The boys in dresses with short hair really stand out. My sisters have old pix of them as toddlers in cute old fashioned dresses. They are black and whites. I hope they saved the cute dresses for me when I was a toddler.
