These lovely people support all the features in Sissy Kiss to contribute to our community! So it would help so much if you could check them out, and say your from Sissy Kiss. Some even give discounts, or free gifts by mentioning it!

Your first thing should be to get a journal, one that is a perfect shade of sissy pink, maybe with Hello Kitty on it, or something similarly cute. Get a lockable one.

Then answer this question in your journal: what does being a sissy mean to me? It could be done as an essay, a collage, a comic, etc.

Then set side some time to write in your journal every week. Work on making your handwriting more girly as you write.

I'm not sure if I can give you a top 10 list that fully applies to you (I'd even recommend you take up Becky's idea), but hopefully I can give you some ideas. Maybe I'll even manage some myself.

Of course, not everyone has the personal freedom (or even the income) to accomplish all these tasks. If that sounds like you, I recommend #2, #7, and #8.

1. Discard your boxers and briefs in favor of panties!

Slightly stolen from Alexis, but less extreme in execution, whenever your boxers or briefs get a hole or terribly unsightly stain throw them out. Replace them with panties (either as you toss out each pair or as necessary).

2. Let your hair grow!

This is more of a unassignment than an assignment, but just let your hair grow for the whole year. The average person's hair grows about 0.25 inches (about 6 millimeters) ever month. You won't have gorgeous locks down to your knees after 12 months, but you'll be on your way.

Of course, your hair may get unkempt in 12 months. At the end of each month you may want to check to make sure you don't have ridiculous split ends and frayed hair. If you do, get your hair trimmed (but not cut!). By the end of the year you should have at least 2.5 more inches of hair.

3. Buy yourself at least one poofy, frilly pink dress!

Fairly self-explanatory, I think. Get a prepaid credit card or paypal account if you have to, grab a cloth tape measure and get your body measurements, place an order somewhere and enjoy!

4. Get girly-colored things!

Let's go for total decimation here! One out of every 10 non-perishable, non-furniture items need to be a feminine color. Follow this easy color guide - basically pastel, white, purple, pink, lavender or turquoise.

If you're feeling especially confident (or 10% of your stuff is already pink), make another 10th expressly pink or pastel blue.

5. Buy and (fairly consistently) wear a coat or shirt that zips or buttons on the left!

Since most people are right handed it was generally easier for the right thumb to slip the button through a buttonhole or loop. Rumor goes that when buttons became fashionable fasteners in the 15th century onward men's clothes had buttons on the right because men dressed themselves, women's clothes had buttons on the left because women were dressed by servants (or at least liked people to think they were).

So the convention stands today that women's clothing buttons from the left, and men's from the right. Of course you could easily get a unisex-looking jacket with a zipper and no one would be able to tell it was a girl's jacket when its zipped except you...

6. Switch over feminine deodorant and other hygiene products!

You need not throw out your men's deodorant now, but when you run out, maybe it's time to make the switch to Lady Speed Stick or Secret deodorant/anti-perspirant. Especially if you're undertaking number 2, get some hair products consisting of separate shampoo and conditioner. If you use disposable razors, consider some Venus disposable razors.

7. Keep your legs hair-free!

Speaking of razors... Shave your legs or use a depilatory (be careful near your crotch, especially with things like Nair!) or wax. Try to keep them smooth. You don't need to shave your pubic hair (necessarily), but you may want to groom it a bit. Of course, if you have unsightly chest or back hair it's probably time to let that go as well.

8. Drop the soda habit!

This may seem like it belongs to more traditional New Years resolution lists, but soda (or pop, or coke or whatever it happens to be called wherever you live) is basically sugar, flavoring and water. As such it's incredibly unhealthy and detracts from your girlish figure. Consider rewarding yourself with soda or juice when you do something extra feminine or finish a difficult project (Your panty drawer is finally a panty drawer and not a panties and boxers drawer? Reward! You wore panties under your clothes to work for the first time? Reward!). Not only is it positive reinforcement for your feminine behavior, but you'll begin to associate soda as the treat that it is instead of the normal, everyday beverage it has become. Plus you'll save money!

If you drink lots of it you may need to slowly ween yourself off of the caffeine (yes, there is caffeine withdrawal!   ). Remember that juice isn't the best alternative to soda (it tends to be very high in sugar as well), so try making milk, water, coffee and unsweetened tea your beverages of choice.

9. Get some girly footwear!

You can use the color guide from above if you want, but either get some tennis shoes/sneakers in a feminine color (...that's not white) or consider some more feminine footwear options. A vast majority of women in the western world own 10 pairs of shoes or more, so you can imagine the possibilities you have - slingback pumps, open-toed sandals, slipper shoes! Or you can go a bit more difficult and daring and try and get some fashionable boots that go up to your knee (no, not snow boots, silly).

If you're really daring you might consider adopting something similar to #1 (although feel free to get white shoes then, just make sure they're women's).

10. Listen to hypnosis files!

Try listening or watching a hypnosis file once a day (or at least once a week) - the same one repeatedly, once you've found one you like. This one may be a bit outlandish (at least compared to the rest), but there are excellent options out there for you for free. Even if you don't feel you can get into a trance, you'll remember listening to the files and be reminded of their goals for you (and thus your goals for yourself). These goals can differ wildly (particularly whether your preference is diapers, feminisation or something a bit more dirty (as examples)).

Well, hopefully that at least gets you some ideas. Even if you like all 10 of these, I'd still recommend Becky's for expressing yourself and working on your handwriting).

Natalie had some really good suggestions on her list.
1. Natalie's way is a better way to move into it. I started it by getting rid of the male underwear with small holes. But later just end up getting rid of them because I didn't like them taking up space in my lingerie drawer.

3. That would be a really gift to reward yourself if you stick with your girl list for a while.

4. Gave me an idea about some a little different if you play any video games. Buy a pink controller. I think all the systems have one. Make a feminine handle. Buy a dance game to work on your dance moves and figure. Dress up before playing. And if you are feeling brave use one of the online service to practice your female voice.

6. I found dove ultimate seems to work well with it promise to keep your underarm smooth longer. I use wild rose as my main deodorant. It has a really feminine scent that you will smell but others probably won't be able to unless they are extremely close to you.

7. Essential for babies and sissies

8. Also you could start taking at least on beverage a day from a bottle either for breakfast or before bed.

9. Will get expensive fast but adding a pair every month or so for a year will quickly get you up there.

It would also be good to use Becky's diary idea to write about the other nine things you pick.

Wearing a color polish on toes and clear on your fingernails. Even though it isn't that noticeable on your nails you will notice it and you are constantly aware of it until you learn to ignore it.

Thank you everyone for such great Ideas! Suggestions #1,2,3,4,6,and,7 are musts. 8 would probably be harder for me than 5 and 9 combined, so I guess I'll have to do it. I must also add one of my own which is to finally come out to my wife before the end of the month. That leaves one last thing for my list of ten.

I'm about to go to a New Year's Eve party soon. I shaved my legs this morning, I'm wearing pink girl's panties size 16 (threw out a pair of tightie whities), found a Barbie Make Your Own Diary at Walgreens, used Secret Powder Fresh Deodorant, colored my hair (2 days ago), and bought a pink lighter! Hope I don't jump the gun and blurt something out over a glass of champagne.

I wish everyone a Happy New Year's and hope someone is lucky enough to be their parties New Year's Baby and get to run around all night in a diaper!

In addition to all the great suggestions given, maybe add a few like subscribe to several womens and girls magazines, get subscriptions to catalogs such as Victoria's Secret, Sissies magazines and publications, etc (shouldn't be reading male stuff - yuckie!) If you have a credit card, request another user card on your account in your feminine name. Easy to do and then you can purchase things with your feminine name.

Almost forgot - also buy a workout DVD specifically for feminizing your figure. Get the appropriate feminine workout clothes to use while exercising. Set aside time in your day to make sure you are exercising to obtain a girly figure.

Happy New Year

If you want that Victoria's Secret catalog if you buy something from them they will usually put you on most of their mailing list: email and normal mail. Found that out last time I order some panties from them.

I would recommend the following accessories for your wardrobe:-

1.Only buy womens trousers either smart ones or jeans and if you're daring get the high waisted type with wide legs (I love wearing mine out)
2.Only buy womens jumpers - they look similar to mens but there is something about them and the labels are a give away.
3.You can get womens shoes which are sort of similar to mens - black slipons and again if daring you can get them with a wedge heel.
4.Definitely only use womens shirts and even more fun if the have darts in to fit to breasts and the bottoms are cut to wear on the outside.
5.Always wear a slip under your shirts/blouses that have fine shoulder straps as with might show through when you bend forward.
6.A belted womens mac that buttons on left and is cut to suit the female shape. Easy to wear when not buttoned but much more fun when buttoned and belted and make sure the belt has a proper buckle so you can pull it tight and fasten in place. the skirt part of the coat will then flare out nicely.
7.Alternative to 6 is a knee length puffer coat with belt and hood. You can't disguise this cos the belt pulls the waist.

I love wearing all my femme things knowing they are femme and knowing that people do notice but no one ever dares say anything but you might get some looks buts thats the buzz. Love it.

Good Luck

and forgot these

Always have your hair cut at a ladies salon and preferably one that does beauty treatments and have your eyebrows waxed to keep them neat and have have manicures. All of these can be done easily and you don't need to have your eyebrows done drastically but just having them done is so femme.

And of course you have to wear as much femme clothes as poss and don't be bashful if they ask about what your wearing. If you build up a good rapport with the salon you'll be going there totally en femme in skirts, dresses etc. Most places seem quite use to it and it is such a buzz when you first go and then when you start pushing the boundaries with more things.

Of course when you go wearing a nappy and then a wet one you can only imagine the delights!!!!!!!

I have to agree with natnesr. Having been in this "community" for over a decade, and knowing about Adult Babies for a LOT longer than that, I conclude that there are many, many nuances. Some like adult panties, some like little girl panties, some like training panties, some like diapers. Some like to grow long hair and look like a girl as much as possible, while others think it is better to look like a boy wearing a dress. Some only dress in private, some semi-private, others 24/7. Some think a sissy ought to lisp, others find this dang annoying (bet you can tell what camp I am in on that  : ). Some like super poufy dresses, some like school uniforms, and some say "what are clothes?" Some like to be spanked, some do not. Some like sexual connotations, others feel sex should be separate. Some like sweet, some like humiliation. Some want to eat cum, some think that is utterly disgusting.

Without knowing where you fall in these and other categories, we could never come up with a suitable list. I always hold back from posting asking for tasks on here because someone would invariably say something I would never be willing to do.

I've (rather shockingly) learned to live with these vast differences among those who are similarly inclined. I used to think there was nothing wrong with exclusivity, until I was the one who was excluded, over rather stupid differences. That's why I joined here after so long of just looking on ... I decided, "Screw it - that looks like fun!" despite some differences of opinion. I want to play, too. I do not refer to myself as a sissy - to me that suggests I'm not "really" a little girl, and I feel that I am. However, "Sissies" have similar inclinations to me, which can allow us to play together.

So here's a question - do you know who YOU are? The diary is an exceptional idea. I did this when I was first starting out. By doing so, you will learn abut yourself, and by THAT you will be able to know how you can be a better you. You don't have to be what everyone else thinks - isn't that the main reason we are ostracized from society-at-large ... because we are different from everyone else?

Thank you Kita,

Do I know who I am?

I did when I was young (5ish). But the world is quick to let you know when you don't fit others' perceptions. By my teens I was adept at living in two worlds, my real one and theirs. By the time I graduated college, I lost my center, and went off the deep end exploring a darker scarier world thinking I would find myself. As a working adult, I perfected passing in their world, losing mine and losing me in the process... I know this sounds cryptic by leaving out what i did and what i wore. I tried to describe the essence of a rather sad journey of nonacceptance of self. I'm sure I'm not alone.

Adult panties, little girl panties, trainers and diapers... I've worn them all and enjoy something special still about each one. To list the things I've tried and things I've done would sound like the index of a very wicked wiki. And probably give alot of people here a thrill.

What am I? adultbaby, sissyboy, littlegirl, ******, cumdump, freak, submissive, transvestite, transgender, transexual, confused, lost, what others want me to be.

Who am I? A person who laughs, cries, feels tender, helps others, gets angry, is scared of admitting who I really am.
I so want to be the girl I know inside, to be a woman because I feel it's right, without caring what others think. I so want the courage to live my own life. I told my therapist I probably won't transition because at my age I no longer can pass. But I realize I've been passing all my life. I've learned to make believe I'm a man and everyone on the outside believes it. The problem is the one person on the inside -- who am I?

I'm sorry this is so serious -- I'll post something juicy and fun another night.

Hey girls we're getting a bit heavy here when we should be looking forward to the new year and setting Babyjen up with some creative ideas to be girlie.

Put a bit of eyeliner on and some lippy that matches your lip colour and head out to a ladies clothes shop and buy something! Doesn't matter what it is cos your going to take it home and the next day get dressed in some femme stuff as my previous posts and return the item. This way you have to talk to someone in the shop. The more femme you dare risk the greater the buzz. THe nice thing is the shop assistant might notice what you're wearing but will say nothing - maybe just smile nicely and it great xxxx
