Hiya! Thank you,  I'm glad that you like them. I've always preferred opaque to sheer hose for me - I think they have a better look, especially for a style like this. I guess I should say that aren't actually tights but lace top stockings with a suspender/garter belt - not really what a little girl should have on but my good lady just loves me to wear them (no complaints from me either - lol!)
      Big hugs!

Hiya! No worries my friend - tights or stockings, it's all good. I'd say you'd look incredibly cute in an outfit such as this - would make a lovely photo. Actually, I can't wait to see your full costume for Halloween - I hope you'll share a picture.
Many thanks, have a wonderful day. :-)

As always you make a wonderful model, but know what you're missing?

Nothing says carefree kid like, well you know, balloons! *giggle*

Honestly though, you look wonderful, the headband is great.

Hiya Pink Balloon! Thank you ever so much, you truly are a wonderful friend.
Do you know, that is a good idea - a balloon or two would have added nicely to the picture and kept well in with the theme. I'll have to keep that in mind, thank you. :-)
Had to knock up the most of that headband ourselves. We couldn't find the exact one we wanted so we bought a standard white Alice band, covered it in pink satin ribbon then added the bow. I'm happy to say it worked out okay - perhaps we should make some more and sell them on ebay (hee hee).
I'm really happy that you like it. :-)

Ah Alice, have I ever said my opinion on her?

Suffice to say, she's wonderful... well not the Tim Burton one but the point remains.

My love is no doubt a combination of her dress (those light blue dresses like her and Cindy) and well her hair, headband included.

And if you want a really good Alice, the demon in Shin Megami Tensei is wonderful, but that's for another time.

Point is, Alice is wonderful.

Hiya! I'm awfully sorry my friend, didn't see your reply until just now.
Yes, I'm certainly a fan of Alice too but it's the books that really hold my interest. Sure, there are some truly wonderful movie versions out there (and a couple of terrible ones! - lol) but the original source material is far better then any of them. The earliest version of a movie I've come across is the 1903 version and that really is worth seeing just for the novelty of it.
I don't know the Shin Megami Tensei Alice but then again, to say that I'm not a gamer would be the understatement of the year so it's no surprise I missed that one.
Thanks once again, wishing you a lovely day. :-)
    Big hugs.

Hiya Christie! Oh wow sweetie, thank you ever so much. I'm really happy that you like my outfit, it means a real lot to me. I had to have that pinafore dress as soon as I saw it - it came from one of the UK adult baby clothing suppliers called Cozy and Dry. I can't say that I'd seen anything quite the same anywhere else. My favourite thing about it is the nursery patterns all the way around the skirt. It took us a while to find the right blouse but ended up buying this Bavarian style one from a vintage fair.
That's one naughty little kitty I have in my basket there - I don't know if you recognise him but he's Simon's Cat from the books and cartoons - a right little hellraiser (*giggles*)
Wishing you a wonderful day Christie, thank you. :-)
     Big hugs.

Greetings to you Kay! You do look like a little girl in this one. Love the cat in a basket idea mummy came up with. The tights look comfortable too. Don't do anything naughty, he he.

Hiya Butch! A big thank you to you my dear friend. I have to admit myself - of all the pretty outfits I've worn recently, this one really did feel special. I'm very happy that you like it. Mummy just keeps getting more and more inventive in her ideas. We went through a whole host of plushies before we settled on that one - it was nearly a 'Hello Kitty' but when we dumped my 'Simon's Cat' stuffie in there it just worked so well - so he got the starring role.
My legs were very comfortable - not tights tho, thems my usual stockings and suspenders under there. Believe me Butch - I don't have to be naughty for Mummy to want to dress me up...but it's an even more fun day when I am! (*giggles*)
You're an absolute star my friend, have a wonderful day.
  Big hugs!

lovely dress and tights, look like you want to run away and play like a real little girl, just barely stood still long enough for the picture to be taken.

Hiya Dina! Thank you so very much. You make a good point there - it does look as though something has caught my imagination and I'm just dying to investigate. :-)
I have to admit, I was rather skipping around the garden in this outfit - thankfully Kitty remained in his basket and didn't end up lost in the grass (tee hee). I've always worn this dress as a sissy baby with nappies and a bonnet so it was nice to make that change and go with the little girl look. I'm really pleased that you like it, that means so much to me.
   Wishing you a lovely day.
     Big hugs!
